Undergraduate dissertation is a new and, maybe, a bit exciting assignment for many students. Undergraduate dissertation is normally written at the end of the second year. You have about one year to complete this assignment (until the second semester of your third year). It may seem that you have enough time for writing your undergraduate dissertation and it is really so. But a common problem of all students is that they cannot manage their time. Every time you put off writing and you think: “Oh, I have enough time to write my undergraduate dissertations”. And then, you realize that you have only two weeks to complete and submit you work that you have only half done. Here you start to panic and try to complete your undergraduate dissertation anyhow. This is definitely a wrong decision.

That is why, once you have received the topic of your undergraduate dissertation, start working. You should devote every single day, at least half an hour a day, to your work. Thus, you will make progress. We would like to remind you the parts that constitute your undergraduate dissertation:

  • Abstract. In this part you will present the newness of your research. You can carry out research of a particular aspect of the problem that has been already investigated or you can take an absolutely new problem.
  • Introduction. In this part of your undergraduate dissertations, you should say why your topic is important and mention the aims, goals, the object and the subject of your research.

  • Literature review. Here you will have to analyze literature used for writing your undergraduate dissertation. You can say whether there are enough materials on your topic and evaluate their quality.
  • Methodology. In this part you will have to describe the methods used for writing you work and conducting your research.
  • Conclusion. This part of your undergraduate dissertation is a summary of the whole work, where you have to tell about the results and state whether the aims of your dissertation were achieved.
