Dissertation Papers’ Writing Stages
Dissertation papers are usually written by graduate students who have a desire to get the higher degrees. As a rule, these students decide to write their dissertation papers, but some time later realize that they have made a huge mistake. Since it is too late to refuse, they put off writing their dissertation papers and get down to work when putting off is already impossible.
Now, I would like to consider 3 states of every dissertation writer’s mood:
Stage 1: Burning Desire
This stage of dissertation papers’ writing starts with making a decision to write a dissertation. At this stage, students are usually full of joy and desire to enlarge their scope, enrich their vocabulary with professional words. But their greatest motivator is a desire to single out by making a finding in the field of the chosen research area;
Stage 2: Writer’s Block
As statistics has shown, every dissertation writer, like any other professional writer, has the writer’s block. During this time, ideas do not please them with the visits; moreover, the sources collected do not wish to help by giving enough information. That is why their dissertation papers are being put off for the best times, when the muse will come. Besides, dissertation papers are nothing in comparison with the parties the close friends organize;
Stage 3: Hurry
Actually, it is exactly what makes students complete their dissertation papers: fear and time pressure. At this stage of dissertation papers’ writing they realize that if they do not apply efforts to stop their writer’s block, they will fail. That is why they start working on their dissertation papers round-the-clock, paying no attention to health.
These were 3 main states of every dissertation writer. You may follow the tracks of these writers or try to avoid similar states of mood. Anyway, keep in mind an old proverb: “By the street of by and by one arrives at the house of never”.
